Dr. Marcy Cole
Dr. Marcy Cole is a Holistic Psychotherapist, Life Enrichment Producer, Writer, Speaker, Community Mobilizer & Humanitarian Visionary.
She received her Bachelors from Northwestern University, her Masters from Loyola University and her Doctorate from the Institute of Clinical Social Work in Chicago.
Dr. Cole has been practicing Psychotherapy for over twenty-five years, working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her treatment approach is holistic, focusing on supporting optimal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health in the clients she serves, both in Los Angeles and virtually worldwide.
Her articles have been published by Goop, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Huffington Post, and Thrive Global. As a co-author, she participated in two best selling anthologies: Living Proof, Celebrating the Gifts that Come Wrapped in Sand Paper, and Get Your Woman On, Embracing the Power of Beauty, Grace and the Power of Women.
Dr. Cole speaks on a variety of topics, and has been featured as an expert on television shows such as Dr. Drew’s Life Changers on CW network, Millionaire Matchmaker, on Bravo, Braxton Family Values, on WE network, and Issues with Jane Valez-Mitchell. on HLN.
She currently works part time, as the Wellness Educator and Facilitator at The John Thomas Dye K-6 independent school in Bel Air, California, providing support for faculty/staff/parents and students.
Marcy produces monthly Life Enrichment events for women, through the platform she founded in 2004 called First Tuesday USA (soon to transition to First Tuesday Global). These monthly gatherings are now virtual, available to women worldwide, offering connectivity as well as inspiration from featured high-profile thought leaders and influencers…speaking about social issues, as well as personal and professional development.
In 2011 Dr. Cole launched an on-line platform for women without children, whether by choice or circumstance, called Childless Mothers Connect…honoring the “mother” within every woman. She was also the Executive Director of the Non-profit CMomA.org, supporting the connection between individuals without children and children in need. That 501-C3 was “adopted” by Kidsave.org in 2018.
